Those familiar with the concept of micro-financing, would know of the work of the Grameen Bank.
It was established in Bangladesh in the 1970s offering small loans to the impoverished without requiring collateral.
Together with it’s founder Professor Muhammad Yunus it was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006.
Now, it’s to be launched in Australia. Tracey Holmes spoke to CEO Adam Mooney.
